The en-bloc acquisition is part of our strategy to seek underutilised or ageing assets with potential for redevelopment, retrofitting or other asset enhancement initiatives. The building sits on a 4,581 square metre freehold site within walking distance of Tai Seng MRT, offering excellent connectivity and long-term redevelopment potential.
We intend to either redevelop this property into an 8-storey ramp-up strata food factory or explore redeveloping this property into a ramp-up strata food factory with a workers' dormitory which is subject to URA's approval. In March 2025, the Group has obtained approval to construct a multi-user ramp-up strata food factory featuring a central kitchen, food processing and production and cold storage with ancillary industrial canteen.
